The thing about babies

So lately I’ve noticed that there’s just something about babies–something that makes them absolutely irresistible to others. It’s something that’s quite convenient mind you. The only time our baby gets held by mommy or daddy is when we’re at home. If we’re at a friends house or a get together, there’s really no need for us to hold him because everybody else wants to. Maybe that’s just because we have a great baby, one who loves people and who is pleasant and who has a smile on his face all the time. I’m sure if he were a colicky fussy baby who always cried people wouldn’t want to hold him as much as they do now. I’m not worried though. It gives me comfort to know that he can deal with other people without getting too stressed out. I wonder what’s going to happen during that period when they start getting the fear of leaving their parents. Hmmm….I’m sure he’ll handle it fine.
