Bryan works an hour from home and I have the greatest privelage of being able to stay home and just be pregnant and prepare for our new arrival.
Kayla comes and stays every other weekend. When she visits we sometimes go camping or go see bands play, her and I go shopping, we all also like to watch movies and go out for dinner. Kayla will be graduating from high school soon, what a great accomplishment for her, she is very active in her school choir and has traveled to Canada and California for competitions.
As for our crazy Daisy, we got her from the Humane Society in March of 2007. She was 4 months old and cute as can be! We have had quite a life with Daisy. She is a big girl and sweet as can be. Whiney and stinky at times but overall a great dog. We have had many trips to the vet in this first year because of her exploring heart but she has been well worth it. As she has gotten older she has become a lot mellower and more protective of us. She seems to be aggressive but really it’s always a show. Her bark is bigger than her bite is definitely true. When the baby arrives I have no worries about Daisy adjusting just fine to him. She has been around babies and toddlers and she seems to know what is the appropriate way to be. She will come up and sniff, sometimes give a lick, but generally knows a gentle touch and a good distance. She really is such a sweet, goofy girl.
