Subject: Google Friend Connect

Hello Ladies,

Today we’ve added Google Friend Connect to Blogging Mothers.  At the top of each post and soon each page you will see a friends list and a rating / review box.  Both of these are Google powered and we are giving the setup a try to see if it is something we want to keep around.

Subject: Candy Bar Game

Last night we launched an online version of a popular baby shower game called The Candy Bar Game

The rules are simple, you simply match up a circumstance to a candy bar. For example a circumstance of, “Hospital Bill” might be tied to the candy bar “100 Grand”.

Once you tie one candy bar to each circumstance without using any single candy bar twice, you can find out how you scored and share your score with other mothers on your own parenting blog, websites or forums.

Note: We’ve also provided a printable version that you can download and print for baby showers. This is how Jen and I came across the game so we thought it only fair and logical to provide this game for all people interested in using it for a baby shower.
